Minimum qualifications of being a RENAISSANCE Foster/Adoptive Kinship Parent

• Must be at least 21 years old;
• Every individual 14 years and older living in the home, must be able to pass required background checks;
• The must be space to accommodate a child or youth in the home;

• The home must be willing to undergo required inspections;
• The foster/adoptive/kinship parent(s) must be willing to undergo pre-service and post service training classes;
• The foster/adoptive/kinship parent must have at least a High School Diploma or GED or be able to pass a test for literacy
